Captain David Kesler is considered one of the best bottom fisherman on the East Coast. He has been a licensed captain for over twenty years and has an intricate knowledge of all kinds of fishing techniques as well as a vast database of fishing spots.

Captain Kesler has owned/operated more than eight boats in his career, including two large charter boats based out of Morehead City and Wrightsville Beach, NC. In the mid 1990s, he was one of the pioneering fishermen in the North Carolina bluefin tuna fishery, having caught in excess of 150 of the giants in his career. Captain Kesler has participated and won or placed in many offshore, king mackerel, and spear fishing tournaments. In the off season, he commercial fishes for grouper and tuna and transports boats along the East Coast of the United States.

Captain Kesler has been featured in numerous articles in both regional and national publications including North Carolina Sportsman and Spearing Magazine. He was also a guest speaker in the 2011 Saltwater Sportsman National Seminar Series.
